Child Action North West - Blackburn Children’s Home, Wilpshire, Blackburn.

The practice has worked with Blackburn Children’s Home for over 40 years providing full RIBA services covering many different projects.  The most recent project brief was to design a scheme which involved remodelling existing room layouts to provide functional administration space while demonstrating an economical use of the existing floor space.

Child Action North West - Cyclone Project, Salford.

The practice was invited to carry out a feasibility study with a view to providing a ‘flagship’ building within Buille Hill Park, Salford to serve CANW and the local community.

The project proposal was to design a building that would provide bicycle workshop facilities, teaching and social areas for under privileged and wayward children to attend for educational purposes, as well as the potential to become a social ‘hub’ within the local community with retail and recreational facility possibilities.

Boathouse, Fishmore Reservoir, Blackburn.

The practice is currently working on a scheme to provide new storage and recreational facilities for the Lancashire Sailing club.  The project involves a new build clubhouse to be built on an existing plot in close proximity to the reservoir.  Security and sustainable materials are design features taken into consideration early on in the feasibility process.
