Darwen Central United Reformed Church Following the demolition of the Church which had a dwindling congregation and high maintenance issues, a new Church and car park was designed as an extension to the Church Hall on an adjacent site. The development sparked the regeneration of Church lift and congregation numbers have soared.
Trinity United Reformed Church The Practice was instrumental in obtaining Planning Permission for housing on the Church land which was sold to provide funding for a new Church Hall. The facility may be used for community groups, indoor sports and Church meetings and features a commercial Kitchen for major functions.
Built as an extension to the Church on a tight site and on a small budget, the scheme provides a multi-purpose Hall, Kitchen, Meeting Room and disabled facilities shared with the Church. The Practice had to resolve issued leading to VAT exemption through negotiations with the Inland Revenue and Customs.
